In Korea, 1330 Tele-Tourist Service is available for foreign tourists. Starting from Seoul, other metropolitan cities and provinces are expected to introduce 1330 Tele-Tourist Service. As for Gangwondo, Gangneung already started providing the service.

Dial "033-1330" regardless of either wired or mobile phone, then various kinds of tour information of Gangwon such as tourist spot, transportation, accomodation and restaurant are available in English, Japanese and Chinese even from outside Gangwon.
