Sun Cruise Resort is a pleasure boat standing on the beach cliff 60 meters above the sea.
It has 38,500 pyeong of ground and 7,100 pyeong of total floor space, It is 165 meters long and is a ten-story building. There is a 1,500 pyeong of unnatural lake around the building and transplanted coconut trees.
Sun Cruise Resort opened in December, 2001 is located on top of the mountain which is 60 meters high above the sea and Jeongdongjin seaside from all rooms. It has 211 rooms in the shape of hotel and condo including suites and standard rooms in 38,500 pyeong of ground and 7,100 pyeong of total floor space.
There are a revolving sky lounge which revolves once an hour, a snack corner which has an observation platform, European restaurant, Oriental restaurant, cafe lounge, pub, Karaoke/room salon and other various shops.
The capacity of banquet hall ocean palace is about 1,000 persons and you can use it for international meeting, seminar, wedding and so on. There are also middle/small size of banquet halls available.
Feature of the resort looks like "modern Bongraeho" and it is the place becoming a noted place for seeing sunrise in Jeongdongjin.
There are 30 pieces of sculptures in the sculpture park and 250 pieces of totem pole brought from Hahoe town in Andong in totem pole park in the resort now.
In addition, train cafe first used as a cafe and boat cafe runs as a coffee shop now offer something to see and rest.
